Yea the orangey one on the mountainside is pokemon, but the last one is just a dragonfly.

They're really impressive, is there any programs you can recommend if I'd wanna try to draw something on the pc? Or would I need a pad for that?

In all seriousness, you'd probably need a pen tablet to pull off any sort of proper work. I mean, yea I've seen people do -magical- things with a mouse, but there's a pretty bold line between what you can do with a mouse and what you can do with a tablet.
That said, if you're going to grab a tablet I highly suggest grabbing Painttool SAI as well. You can buy it digitally online for $50-$60 USD, and it's very, VERY worth it. I use it for ALL of my work, aside from when I scan something I drew traditionally, in which case I edit it in photoshop as SAI has very few photo-editing tools. It's more for the drawing.
Also I drew a robot so you can't hold that to me anymore (rather Ulduar inspired). Meet Frankbot. (My boyfriend paid me to draw it, rofl.)

These are really amazing! I wish I could draw any better than the average quality i can. usually mine end up looking misshapen or the clothing looks off. How do you keep this from happening, and how do you determine the placement of key facial features?

First of all, welcome to my TOTALLY AWESOME AND BETTER THAN ICHIBI'S thread!
There's a system to everything :3c I suggest you look up some tutorials, places like dA and just googling things are pretty handy dandy. I have some things here you can probably use though.
